Starting As Dispatch
Welcome to Dispatch, lets learn how to manage your CAD.
Information
If you do not have permissions to access the dispatch section of the CAD, please contact an administrator who will give you permissions.
Starting Out
To start dispatching, we will head to the dispatch section of the CAD.
Lets learn each area of your menu.
Label 1
This is where you can see and manage all of the on-duty police.
Each unit is displayed with their:
Unit Number
Name
Location
Department
Rank (In Department)
Status
You can change each of these yourself for the officers.
Changing The Status
By clicking on the unit's current status, you can change their status to whatever you want.
Other Settings
By clicking anywhere else on the unit, you can edit a variety of other settings.
Add to Call
Add the unit to the current call in your editor.
Add to Group
Add the unit to a group. (Advanced)
Lookup
Send a search result to the unit.
Tone Board
Play a sound for the unit.
Timers
Create a timer for the unit.
Edit Unit
Toggle Panic
Toggle a unit's panic.
Kick Unit
Remove a unit from the CAD.
